Community Benefit Network (CBN)

Strategic Intent
Region V Systems believes in “Promoting Comprehensive Partnerships in Behavioral Health.”  Supporting that philosophy, Region V Systems has created a Community Benefit Network (CBN) with the strategic intent to “Promote collaborative partnerships and initiatives to assist behavioral health organizations in building their capacity to accomplish and sustain their mission and vision.”
The Community Benefit Network seeks to provide leadership, professional/technical assistance, guides/facilitates processes, and convenes groups in a variety of ways to promote long-term sustainability, increase organizational effectiveness, and foster innovation, thereby building organizational capacity.
Increased organizational efficiency and effectiveness is part of the “shared services” concept, which is being launched across the nation in a variety of ways through pooled resources.

Technical Assistance/Shared Services
Building Partners
Currently, five nonprofit agencies are benefiting from the shared services concept as building partners at Region V Systems. Building partners lease office space and have the option to utilize additional resources and technical assistance.
Building Partners have access to receptionist services, conference rooms, break rooms, parking lots, coffee/water, and office cleaning staff.  Organizations recognize direct benefits by sharing services, reducing administrative costs, and eliminating duplication of efforts.  Directors are then allowed the freedom to focus on their core mission/values.
